Sample Language for Privacy Policy

This page provides optional draft language you can use when updating your company’s privacy policy to explain how you use embedded third-party services—such as Cognitive3D.

Please review and customize the wording so it accurately reflects your company’s practices.

  1. Section 1 offers general disclosure language that applies to all third-party services you may integrate.
  2. Section 2 includes language specific to Cognitive3D.

You should adjust or remove any parts that don’t match how your company actually collects, uses, or shares data, and ensure the final version aligns with your privacy obligations and policies.

Section 1 - Broad Disclosure

Third-Parties:

This Privacy Policy applies only to the personal data collected, used, processed and disclosed by [Company Name]. To monitor and analyze the use of our Service, we have integrated certain third-party services into the Service, including but not limited to Cognitive3D and [insert names of other third-party service providers]. Third-parties on the Service may collect, use, process and disclose personal information from the Service, including personal data about online activities over time and across different websites. Such third-parties may have privacy policies that are broader than those set forth in this Privacy Policy and we recommend you review each third-party privacy policy carefully before using the Service. Section 2 - Specific Disclosure

Third-party service providers such as Cognitive3D are used to help us better understand how the Service performs in order to improve the functionality and performance of the Service. Examples of data that Cognitive3D may collect and use to assist us includes:

  • Usage Data: Information about your usage of the Service, including but not limited to the frequency and duration of your Service use, interactions made on the Service, behaviors that trigger events, data on how users move their controllers or hands, how users move their head which is also used to infer gaze (where users look) and how users move through 3D space;
  • Device Data: Information about your device, operating system, diagnostic data, and virtual reality (VR) or other hardware information; and
